Álvaro Morte is a Spanish actor born in Algeciras, Cádiz, Spain who gained international recognition for his role as Sergio Marquina, also known as “The Professor,” in the hit Spanish television series “Money Heist” (La Casa de Papel). In 1999 he graduated with a degree in dramatic art. He overcome a cancerous tumour in the left thigh. Him and his wife are the founder of theatrical company “300 Pistolas”.
